Study?

At this age of nearly 30, can I still study? This thing keep disturbing my thoughts. I am very sure of further studies but after eight years... study? Am I serious? =P

Oh well, there is no limit of age if one would like to gain knowledge. After all, men and women have to study, have to learn, this is what we've thought before. In fact, working is also some sort of learning process. Sometimes what you learn doesn't mean you can directly implement it at work. For example, try to prepare closing account. It's not gonna be as difficult when you study than in real life. Trust me, it drives me crazy everytime. But then once you work on it and solve it, there is when you gonna feel the satisfaction.

Anyway, I do love those times in university. I was staying in a college. Being so active with college activities every semester in order to get nicer room. Had so much assessments, tests (I don't like tests), report assignment (this one I like it) and many more. Busy with curricular activities. Being force to jog everyday (it's torturing but I miss those times when I was so slim, chewah). Fasting (I love fasting month in university). I guess everyday was a great day in university last time including Valentine's Day (normally I received roses - but not so much because I'm so ugly, even my shadow doesn't wanna see me, hahaha, but how I wish I could get chocolates) =P

Oh well, I heard that, there's gonna be American Education Exhibition in Le Meridien Hotel tomorrow. I may wanna take opportunity to go there. I wish I could find some better place to further studies. Hmmm, I guess I will be in US soon, honey.

Games, Computer and Restaurant

Yesterday after such a busy day at work, and that Yahoo having problem, I went home and shower, have dinner (red bean bread) and rest. Then I played The Sims game on my Playstation 2. In the game, Joshua already married Debbie and have two kids; Jenny Diana and Daniel Jose. Now, I have to make sure their kids study well so that they will be send out to further studies. And both Joshua and Debbie need to earn enough money so that they can pay for the study fees.

My hard disk has never being scan for years. There must be lots of virus in it because it's acting strange this few days. Mostly I'm using it for work purpose (normally I didn't bring work home, don't wanna make it a habit and also my mom hate that so much) but usually I use it to play games. It's either The Sims, Age of Mythology or Diablo. Oh well, now I have to think of taking out the hard disk, bring it to the office for it to be scanned or format or anything, as long as it will be in good condition again.

I read Steve's blog. He wrote beautiful blog about special restaurant that we've been when we were in Singapore. I do love their mutton curry and murtabak. But it came in such a huge portion that I have to ask Steve to finish it for me.

My Fried Rice

Yesterday, I stopped at the supermarket and buy long beans and chicken fillet. I cook rice. Then use chilli peppers (cili api), onion, garlic, anchovies, shrimp (blend all this) and add long beans and chicken fillet to make fried rice. Eat it with fried egg sunny side up and few slices of cucumber. I also made coffee for drink. Mmmmmm it's yummy.

Evethough I'm not an excellent cook. But you will be satisfied to prepare it on your own rather than buy it at stalls.

I'm Alone

I've been told to train students next Tuesday and the training will be held in Kuantan, Pahang. I will be there for two days. Immediately after that, I rescheduled my plan. Good thing about teaching outside Kuala Lumpur, are travelling and allowance given. But then I may bring my apprentice with me =P, because my boss still trust me to handle this job. But still I don't wanna be too greedy to conquer everything. I believe that to make us success is by making other people (normally refer to our downline) success. Well, it's true.

Before going home I went to the telephone service to ask for progress. I still have to wait... *sigh*. I went home and again feeling tense with the condition of the house. To live with zombies (seems dead but still alive) is like handling huge burden. I took shower, clean the cat's thing (so smelly), unclog the drain, throw away rubbish, mop the floor (someone spill the coffee and just leave it there) and do laundry. After a while, my mom's sister came just to give me hard time. Hmmm, what a nice day =(.

I was feeling sad. I know I have family and friends but I'm still alone. But still I never give up hope. I know someday my happiness will come. And I hope it's gonna come soon.

My Work and My Dream

My blog has nothing to do with this movie but hey, this is my blog, I can do what I want =P. Anyway I like this movie, and in this picture showed the first time when Elle meet her wonderful boyfriend (after being kicked out from her class for not able to answer a question) before she dumped Warner that breaking up with her because she's too... er, for him, not too serious.



As I thought, a meeting means more work. So starting today until September I will have to do something like road tour (sounds like singer having album promotion eh? =P) But then I'm not sure if I'm still here until September. I have my own plan this year. And it's gonna be something too important for me. It has to do with my dream! What is it? Er, no I won't tell. Because when you tell your dreams, it will not come true... (if you think this sentence sound familiar, I think you do like watch Cinderella cartoon too =D)

Yesterday meeting took so long. Finish at almost 2pm but I managed to talk to my sweetheart for a while before he went to sleep. And yesterday too, I spent my day made plans, what should I do, when, who, etc. just to make sure everything is right or at least when I'm not around someone can just check my schedule and continue with what I'm doing and what I plan to do next.

Yeah, that wonderful two people came late for meeting yesterday and I don't have time at all to check their work. Mistakes were everywhere and it really drive me crazy. Lucky my boss was ok yesterday so he didn't bother so much about those mistakes but he did say that he hardly have meeting with us so can't we just do the best for that? Spelling mistakes and wrong figure here and there. Geez! Do they think they still in school?

Well, I went home, had baked bean for dinner, clean the house and then play The Sims game for a while. Watch Legally Blonde 1 & 2 and sleep at 1am. I think Reese Witherspoon is really cute in that movie.

I'm Bored

It's gonna be meeting soon and I'm busy write something in this blog, reply email and talk to Steve... =)

I supposed to receive another two documents for me to look through before the meeting starts but this two people still not around and we only have another 45 minutes. I really not in a mood to start working. Monday blues, meeting, waiting for late documents... all this just makes me mad. And now I've been ask to prepare quotation. Oh geez, hope tomorrow gonna be better day for me...

My Favourite Flower

I love tulips. I know it's not easy to find it here but I still love tulips. Reasons? Because it looks neat and simple and so lovely to look at. I mean the whole bunch of tulips is just so lovely.

It said that September is the perfect time to plant tulips. They need to be planted early in the fall, to give them enough time to develop a good root system, before the ground freezes solid.

Tulips need to receive direct sunlight for at least half the day, preferably a full day. If they don't receive enough sun, the bulbs do not absorb enough nutrients and shrink in size. This directly effects the size next year's flower.

Well, I don't know so much on how to handle it. But I guess someone can help me with that. Will you, Steve? Hey, I should ask you to take picture of tulips that you brought for me. I really love it. Thank you so much. Also for the lovely mug. And my mom also bought some dishes for me that have tulips printed on it because she knows that I never like other flowers so much but tulips.

There is some cute riddle about tulips. Someone said that all people face, when they look at the mirror, they can see flowers on it and the answer is 'two lips'. =)

Crazy Day

Too busy at work. Piles of work on the table. Received called from client yesterday saying that she didn't receive the document yet. It really drive me crazy. Because I remember we have to submit to them on the 27th January. But my colleague say he was not sure how to do that. So I spent almost everyday, helping him until before I went to Singapore. And then he supposed to continue and send it to them and at last he failed. And the best part is he said he didn't do anything after that. Great, eh?

That document is too important. It effect company's pride and financial and some people just think it lightly. I can be tolerate with this company for not giving good pay but not with some irresponsible colleague. And also what happen at home makes my day even worse. It's just a bad day for me.

Attack Of The Clothes

I can't sleep last night. So I watch Star Wars series. Begin with the Star Wars 2 - Attack Of The Clones. I noticed in this film Natalie Portman wear variety kinds of clothes and some weird hairstyle also strange kind of make up. Anyway, for a pretty lady like her, not even one of the outfit make her look ugly.

Not sure what is wrong with me but I sleep late for almost past a week. (I think it's all your fault, Steve =P) Normally the earliest is around 3am. So if I have done with my housework, I will watch vcd or play The Sims games. I've done with all Harry Potter series, and then Back To The Future, follow by Lord Of The Rings and the latest is Star Wars.

Maybe after this I need to look for some good movie that one of my favourite actor, Tom Hanks in it... like Forrest Gump (the best part is when he gave an idea on how to dance to late Elvis Presley), Sleepless In Seattle (can you sleep good Steve? =P), Cast Away (Wilson!!!) and many more.

Me, My Sweetheart and Nadiah

Listening to Bee Gees' song 'Alone' while writing this blog. Steve sent it to me. It's so silly because when I asked him to send me this song, I was actually not sure if this is really Bee Gees' or is it the correct song title but it happen to be correct. So, I guess I didn't waste his sleeping time just to wait until the song completely download. And, to tell the truth, I am so excited waiting for that Bee Gees' cd to arrive.

No email from my friends that I met in web. It's just so quiet. Not even from my sister, Nadiah. (anyway thanks for your comment in my blog, and for tag my name in your blog) Normally she will be busy at work. I can consider her as the most important person in the office. Not like me, no one ever care even I was not around for two weeks because of spending my time in Singapore. Hahaha... [ yeah and because of that I have pile of work to be completed by end of this month =( ]

Oh yeah, Steve sent me a very nice lovely picture. I like it so much. He took it at Sentosa Island. My, he's just very good in taking pictures. He should take one of Backstreet Boys during the concert! Anyway, Happy 2nd Anniversary sweetheart.

Narnia

I watched The Chronicles of Narnia : The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe with my sweetheart. It's a good movie. Anyway I have a feeling that it's gonna end that way. I mean, they remain kids, once they walked in through the wardrobe into the house.

Personally, I love Lord Of The Rings and Harry Potter more, eventhough this story combine both magic and special character also war that the two brothers and two sisters have to go through in order to achieve freedom in Narnia.

But, I can't wait to see the next Narnia series. Not sure how many but maybe another four movies. I just hope Peter Jackson can continue making 'The Hobbit'. King Kong was a great and excellent movie but I just don't like sad ending. Now, I've been waiting for a chance to watch Johnny Depp as a pirate in Pirates of the Caribbean!

Backstreet Boys Live In Singapore

I went to Singapore Indoor Stadium to watch Backstreet Boys concert. Hard to believe but that's what happened. It was a successful concert, most of the time the audience sing together with them. They are such a great entertainer. They sang and dance so well. They're just cool. That's the best birthday present I've ever received. Thank you so much, baby. I really had a great time.

They even sing my favourite song 'Quit Playin' Games'. Not to say the most favourite but that song was the first song that makes me started to like them. Since then I think I almost know all of their songs. They also let us enjoy their latest song 'Incomplete'. After 13 years, at last I able to see them live in concert. I was just 16 when I first get crazy about them. This is one of the most great things happen in my life.
